Benefits of Google Workspace – Google’s Business Apps

Google Workspace makes use of cloud computing or software-as-a-service is a web-based software that can be accessed from anywhere using a computer, tablet, or smartphone as long as you have an Internet connection. The software which can be accessed through a secure link resides on a server on the Internet.

Google’s Business Apps lets you have all the functionality of the software without the need of any powerful computer to run it. You do not require a server as you are using Google’s servers when you need them.

With cloud computing, the users don’t even realize that they are accessing G Suite from offsite.  They just have to use their own device to use Google Business Apps.

1 ) Google’s Security and Reliability

When you sign on to a G Suite Business, you can assure that your data is your own.  You own it, access it, and maintain it. The benefit is that you do not have to worry about the security of your data on servers.  Google has first-class security and protects your data from hackers. They use SSL and encrypt each browser session. Your data is available to you whenever you require it due to Google’s reliable data centers. You do not have to worry about downtime.

Cloud computing enables a seamless transition between servers and you do not have to think about the server that does the job. All you need to do is use the applications.

In case of a system crash or data theft, Google always has a backup of your work and you can restore your data and be back up in no time.

2) Cost-Effectiveness

As the servers are off-site, you do not have to keep a data center. Google builds its data centers, keeping their costs low and passing the savings onto their customers. Users have to just make payment for using Google Business Apps and do not have to worry about payment of extra machines, space, software, and personnel.

Google maintains the apps and so do they handle any troubleshooting issues. Users need not think about software upgrades or patches as you will always have the latest version.  Since the software also grows with you, there is nothing to worry about having 10 employees or 10,000 employees.

3) Office not necessary

Your business might have teams working a different part of the world. You do not have to bring them to the same office for meetings. Instead, you can conduct video conferences using Google Hangouts Meet and collaborate in Sheets and Docs through Google’s Business Apps (G Suite). The whole team can be bought at a single place virtually.   It is possible for the team to collaborate and share results in real-time.
